00:11In a statement on Friday, the MACC clarified that although the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court
00:16discharged and acquitted Dime following his death, the probe will proceed under the MACC
00:22Act 2009 and the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities
00:29Act 2001.
00:31The investigation also involves Dime's wife, Toh Puan Naima Abdul Khalid, and other family
00:39members focusing on their overseas asset acquisitions.
00:43The MACC issued the statement to address confusion and misinformation circulating on social media.
00:50On January 29, Dime was charged in the Sessions Court for failing to declare assets, including
00:56a bank account, seven luxury cars, 38 companies, and 25 properties across Kuala Lumpur, Negeri
01:03Sembilan, Pahang, and Perak.
01:06He allegedly committed the offence at the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya on December
01:1213.
01:13Dime passed away on November 13 at the age of 86.
