00:00It is the biggest game in the history of Indiana football taking on Ohio State football. It
00:10is a top five tilt in week number 13, our second to last Saturday of this 2024 college
00:17football regular season. It is our college football today game of the week that top five
00:23tilt in Columbus, Ohio at the shoe. Number two, Ohio State, a double digit favorite
00:29against undefeated and unblemished. Number five, Indiana, we see guy here we are in our
00:36second to last Saturday of the year, where we see in a top five matchup, a 10 and a half
00:42point spread in favor of the Buckeyes. Everybody has made the point we just discussed as we
00:48looked at the CFP top 25. Indiana is unblemished. They are 10 and O for the first time in program
00:56history. But the strength of schedule is not elite. In fact, it's 106 in the country.
01:03So everybody knows this is I use first true step up spot of the season. Will Indiana or
01:10Ohio State be more ready? Well, I think Indiana is going to be ready for this matchup. It's
01:15just what Kurt Cignetti has predicated and preached to this team the extra week of preparation.
01:20I actually think will benefit Indiana more so than Ohio State. And let's not forget perception
01:25right is as we perceive Indiana being maybe like, you know, not as good or dominant as
01:30some of the other undefeated teams or top teams in the top five. Overall, the perception
01:35is Ohio State is still the best team in the conference, even though they lost to Oregon,
01:39right? That's just the way this program is perceived or a blue blood had the best best
01:45price to win the national championship at the start of the year. But again, they have
01:48a veteran quarterback, Indiana, Curtis Rourke. He's completed 71% of his passes. I think
01:54the ability for them to potentially start fast is a key to this matchup. But they have
01:59a front seven that's only given up 2.4 yards per carry 72 rushing yards per game. They
02:05play very good in terms of third down defense cap, holding opposing offenses to 33% of their
02:10third down opportunities and their plus 10 and turnover margin. Every big game that they've
02:15won up until this point, they've won the turnover battle. I don't know if they win it outright.
02:20But I'm taking the 10 and a half. I think they're in this game from start to finish.
02:24So I'm on Ohio State in this game. And I will say, I think, really, as a trio, we have
02:31been very fluid within Indiana. And I think we've been very fair throughout multiple points.
02:36There were moments where I said, if you put IU number one in your, you know, number, I
02:40get that there were, I think, weeks where people would have probably said, Oh, come
02:43on, Ben's top 10, big 10, Ben, waiting list, you hold on, hold on, we've been very fair.
02:49But as I dove in a little extra into this game, I actually don't know if just saying
02:54Oh, it's the hundredth 103rd 106. Now, yes, strength of schedule. I don't think that
02:59actually tells the full story. Because there are 18 teams in the big 10. The big 10 has
03:04four of the top five teams in the college football playoff committee's rankings. The
03:08big 10 is the second best league in college football. It is respected. There are 106.
03:13The next closest easy schedule is Minnesota at 74. Again, 18 teams. There are only three
03:19strength of schedules within the big 10. They're outside of the top 50. It is insane
03:24that this is their schedule. The only offense within the top half of this conference that
03:29they played was Maryland for crying out loud, who scored 28 on them and Billy Edwards was
03:34tossing it left, right and center. They've played none of the top end defenses, the Iowa
03:40Hawkeyes, much less Ohio State or Penn State. You know, they have not Minnesota, they have
03:46not gone up against any of these football teams. So to me, we look at Indiana, this
03:53is beyond a step up. This is a team who has truly played a g five level schedule here
04:00playing arguably the best team in college football, which Ohio State has a very strong
04:05argument to be then
