00:07The Department of Social Welfare and Development of DSWD continues to provide assistance to those who were burned in Isla Puting Bato in Tondo, Manila.
00:15The DSWD personnel immediately headed to the Del Pan Evacuation Center to provide thousands of family food packs.
00:21This is far from being enough to provide assistance to those who lost their homes.
00:26The quick response team of the DSWD also deployed to the area to monitor the situation of our countrymen who were affected by the fire.
00:34According to the Manila LGU, less than 2,000 people were affected by the incident.
00:40As of now, the situation of the fire is being investigated.
00:45The Philippine National Police continues to provide assistance to almost 5,000 police who were also affected by the typhoons Christina, Othel, and Pipito that hit the country.
00:54The PNP Engineering Response Team also deployed to the Agarang Pagsasayos where more than 700 police houses were severely damaged by the typhoons,
01:03especially in Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Bicol Region, and Eastern Visayas.
01:09This is part of the support to the police that continues to serve in the midst of the upcoming typhoons.
01:16Under the direction of PNP Chief Police General Romel Marvil, this is one of the programs that will give priority to the recognition of the sacrifices of those who were affected by the typhoons.
