00:00Good morning it's Steph at the Doncaster Free Press and it's Monday 25th of
00:04November. Hope you've all had a lovely weekend. Just bringing you some of our
00:08headlines today. First of all let's talk about the weekend. There were a couple of
00:12incidents on our roads that caused some tailbacks and some problems. First of all
00:17on Saturday there was an overturned lorry on the M62. Obviously that's just
00:22out of our patch but it did have a knock-on effect for traffic on the M18
00:27and the A19. There were delays there while the road was cleared so that put a
00:34halt to some people's weekend plans. And then yesterday there was another incident
00:39we think there may be well some two or three that followed shortly after one
00:44another but the one we know about was on the White Rose Way near to B&Q. We
00:51understand it was a motorbike or a scooter that was involved there. We've
00:55put a call into the police and we're just waiting to find out exactly what
00:58happened and again there were some quite long tailbacks there and delays.
01:02Obviously that's a very very major road in and out of Doncaster. So that's what
01:07we had traffic wise. Then something that's come from our data team. One in
01:12eight people in the county don't have a dentist. New figures have suggested. The
01:17British Dental Association says that dentistry has ceased to exist for new
01:22patients and it's called for the government to rescue the service. It is a
01:27problem for a lot of people. A lot of people have lost their places with their
01:32NHS dentist if you miss an appointment or anything they're very quick to
01:36knock you off the books there. It is a big problem and it's one
01:42that needs addressing. So you can read all about that information that's come
01:46through on the website today. And then finally something was sent out on Friday
01:50that's still doing well over the weekend and into today. Doncaster mother
01:54and son who appeared in court have been sentenced. Joshua Deer was the serving
02:01prisoner at HMP Doncaster a couple of years back when he enlisted the help of
02:06his mother Dawn Haslam to help him get illegal articles into the category B
02:12men's prison. We understand that was a phone charger. She also faced charge of
02:19possession and attempted supply I believe of cannabis. So that story's on there
02:25like I say that's still doing very well. A lot of people are interested in that and
02:29that's up on the website as well today. So for anything else that's going on in
02:32Doncaster please visit www.doncasterfreepress.co.uk and have a
02:38lovely Monday.
