00:09The school district recently ruled to ban the King James Bible from elementary and middle
00:13schools, citing vulgarity and violence, but will keep it accessible to high school students.
00:18The lawmaker behind the Utah's Sensitive Materials in Schools Act, who once called
00:22the complaint a mockery, posted to Facebook admitting that the Bible was a challenging
00:26read for younger audiences.
00:28According to NPR, the decision to remove the Bible from school libraries has already been
00:33appealed by a different parent.
00:34The district has since received a request to remove the Book of Mormon as well.
