00:00The authority, particularly the PNP-CIDG, is now moving to investigate the allegations of Vice President Sara Duterte

00:08against President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., First Lady Marcos, and House Speaker Martin Romualdez.

00:27The Philippine National Police is now investigating the allegations of Vice President Sara Duterte

00:36against President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., First Lady Marcos, and House Speaker Martin Romualdez.

00:45The PNP-CIDG has the highest level of urgency.

00:48Definitely, these words, if uttered by one particular person to another person,

00:54definitely there are some applicable and relevant laws applicable that can be used against this particular person,

01:01regardless of who said it, regardless of who is the target of these statements.

01:07But then again, we are just being careful to give the specific as to the possible cases to be filed

01:14against those people who were involved in the incidents last Saturday.

01:18PNP Chief Police General Rommel Francisco Marvil also ordered the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group

01:25to investigate the allegations of Duterte.

01:27The CIDG is now coordinating with the Presidential Security Command as part of their investigation,

01:34the center of the investigation, if it is true that a hitman contacted the second president,

01:39or if this is just a figurative speech.

01:41We will make a chronological events of this, we will make the complete records of this,

01:46and then after that, we will analyze and discuss these facts of the case vis-a-vis the possible laws that will come into play.

01:55Will it be obstruction of justice? Will it be direct assault? Will it be the other penal laws?

02:00And even though the CIDG is leading the investigation, other units of the police will also help up to this point.

02:08That is what the PNP will focus on, because those are the specifics.

02:14So we are at that level, that is what we will reach, if it is true that there was a hitman,

02:18if it is true that maybe there was no hitman, or maybe that was just a figurative speech.

02:25So that is what we will look at, and we will be including all of those and considering those in our investigation.

02:33Vice President Duterte also issued a warning to the National Security Council.

02:37They consider the so-called words of the second president as a national security concern.

02:43The Security Protocols of the Presidential Security Command were also alerted,

02:47followed by the directive of Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, after the statements of Duterte, according to the PSC.
