When does Christmas start? Is it when the first snow falls like we had last week, or is it December first? For some it’s when they hear christmas songs on the radio for the first time, or for a few out there, it’s the second halloween ends. We’re here in Cardiff trying to get to the bottom of when the festive season truly begins.

01:14I put a Christmas film on, get the chocolates out, and put my decorations up. Lovely. Good
01:20time of the year. My favourite.
01:23I think it starts too early because then you've got the whole of November to build up to Christmas
01:27and I'm like, now it's the first of December, I've got a whole other month until it's actually
01:31Christmas. I want to start, put my tree up December, got that month, end of December,
01:35it's Christmas.
01:37Well, I must confess, I've actually bought all my Christmas presents quite a while ago
01:42and the only thing I've got to do is wrap them up. I'm so organised.
01:49But I have bought something else that I've seen for a friend, so I just pick bits and
01:53pieces. I've just met a couple of friends for lunch, so we're just doing a bit of Christmas
01:56shopping and if I find something, I'll get it.
