00:31House Speaker Martin Rumualdez has already attacked Vice President Sara Duterte and the entire House of Representatives against allegations of harassment and accusation against him and the entire House of Representatives.
00:43In a statement yesterday by Rumualdez to the House Plenary Session, he emphasized the leadership of Vice President in his life and President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos.
00:57This is no longer a joke. This is no longer a normal speech. This is a direct threat to our democracy, to our security, and to the security of the country.
01:14Such statement is not just reckless, it is dangerous. It sends a chilling message to our people. A message that violence can be contemplated by those in positions of power.
01:29The members of the House of Representatives also condemned this.
01:32They also approved the House Resolution No. 2092 in the plenary session, which expresses the full support and solidarity of the House of Representatives to President Marcos and Speaker Rumualdez amidst the serious attacks against them.
01:47According to Speaker Rumualdez, instead of what kind of measures Luterte is issuing, he should just answer the issue about his misuse of his confidential funds.
02:17If you have nothing to hide, why don't you answer the questions? It is the right of the people to know the truth.
02:25Rumualdez also watched the Vice President while he was in the camera to listen to the House Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability.
02:36Meanwhile, the committee is stopping the plenary session so that everyone can hear the statement of the House Speaker.
02:45Even though Luterte did not directly respond to the points raised by Rumualdez, he again defended the issue of confidential funds and insisted that they are ready to face any case if there is anything to hide about this.
02:58In one part of the hearing, OVP Special Dispersing Officer Gina Acosta suddenly admitted her feelings.
03:08Not long after, Luterte apologized to the committee for leaving and followed Acosta to the hospital.
03:15According to Good Government Panel Chair Joel Chua, even though their hearing went smoothly, the public can expect that they will only hear the truth and justice from now on.
03:29In every hearing, confidential funds of OVP and DEPEDD are being discussed.
