00:39And we're going to have a lot of discussion if they're going to be the three loss SEC

00:43You know, I think a couple of things.
00:45First of all, one of my colleagues at work has come up with a reason and I'm not going
00:50to blow it for him.
00:51He's going to write a column about it.
00:52If the tide takes down the Tigers in the Iron Bowl.
00:58So I won't blow that.
00:59So he's got a good reason.
01:00I'm going to say it's a legit reason, but they also have some significant losses that
01:05could keep them out.
01:06But for me, if there's a more than two loss SEC team that will be long, it will be A&M
01:14if they defeat Texas and get into the SEC championship game.
01:17I will say this right now, Mike, if they do that, they will belong even at four losses.
01:23I think that's a reasonable thing, even at four losses, because I wouldn't punish them
01:28for then losing in the championship game to Georgia.
01:31They play an extra game more than a lot of other teams that are in contention for this.
01:35I think earning your way into that game by taking out Texas, I think they belong even
01:39at four.
01:41But Alabama has something that they have on their side.
01:44Now they have to win the Iron Bowl against Auburn, and there's no guarantee they do that
01:51after what happened against Oklahoma.
01:53I don't think we can guarantee anything with Alabama football.
01:56But if they do get that, I think there's a justification for them to make it, depending
02:01on everything else that happens, of course.
