00:00What do you think about the MTS?
00:07I followed what happened on social media.
00:15Kampung Pulai Condong in Kelantan was flooded by the rain and the water level rose.
00:27The Ministry of Communications has asked for a warning application.
00:37It is not via SMS, but an alert that is sent directly to each mobile phone.
00:46The MCMC is in the final stages of looking for a solution.
00:58If there is a solution, it will be an additional communication tool.
01:05It has a geolocation element, which can be sent to a group of people.
01:15If there is information about PPS, it can also be sent to them.
01:20Is it an app?
01:22It is not an app, it is an alert.
01:24It is not via SMS, but it is like in the middle of the country.
01:27In Japan, when there is an earthquake, everyone in one area will get the information.
01:33It is an emergency alert.
01:35We are trying to implement the same thing in Malaysia.
01:40Will there be a chance to implement it?
01:42I am not sure if there will be a chance or not.
01:45But I will get a message because there is a process that we have to go through.
01:50That is what we hope for.
01:53When will it be ready?
01:54I have to get the latest information from the MCMC.
02:03For more information, please contact the MCMC.
