00:00Today, based on the evidence and investigation, we have found a case of water theft.
00:15Or in fact, a case in which the irresponsible party made an improper connection to the main water supply.
00:26As it turned out, our investigation found that the connection was made without using a meter registered with the Selangor Water Company.
00:37And we also saw several operandi modes that were used.
00:43Why am I here today? I'm here to see this case in detail.
00:52Firstly, I'd like to thank our authorities for their integrity in ensuring a clean and safe water supply to all users.
01:04And at the same time, when such an irresponsible incident occurs, it may result in incidents that we do not want.
01:16This is an example of a safety issue.
01:18Secondly, it may be a water pressure issue.
01:23Or it may be more of a concern if there is a water problem to other users.
01:29We will leave this matter to the SPAN to carry out further investigations and call on the relevant parties, including the owner of this site, to investigate.
01:42If we look at the results of the investigation so far, we estimate that this irresponsible incident happened for 157 days.
02:03But we have to open the investigation paper.
02:07He believes it, because his time is between 157 days and maybe up to 3 years.
02:13What is the value of the Selangor Water project?
02:18Okay, so for the record of this Selangor Water, they actually supply water to Selangor, the area of the Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya Municipalities.
02:30So from January 1st to November 26th, they estimated that there were 324 water leaks.
02:42Of these leaks, we estimate that there were 919,417.26 cubic meters of water, which is equivalent to 2.543 million ringgit.
