03:10Allah ta'barak wa ta'barak
03:38Allah ta'barak wa ta'barak
04:06Allah ta'barak wa ta'barak
04:34Allah ta'barak wa ta'barak
05:02Allah ta'barak wa ta'barak
05:30Allah ta'barak wa ta'barak
05:58Allah ta'barak wa ta'barak
06:25Allah ta'barak wa ta'barak
06:55Allah ta'barak wa ta'barak
07:25Allah ta'barak wa ta'barak
07:53Allah ta'barak wa ta'barak
08:21Allah ta'barak wa ta'barak
08:49Allah ta'barak wa ta'barak
09:17Allah ta'barak wa ta'barak
09:45Allah ta'barak wa ta'barak
09:53Coming to the next hadith, it is hadith number 2567
09:57and it is narrated by Syed Ayesha Siddiqa
10:02She said to her nephew Urwa
10:04No doubt we used to see the moon from the first date of the moon to the second date of the moon
10:11and similarly we used to see the moon from the third date of the first date of the moon in two months
10:16and to start the month we used to check whether the moon was there or not
10:22because we can guess the month from it and we can also guess the end of the month from it
10:26that it will be of 29th or 30th, that's why
10:29and there was no fire in the houses of the Prophet
10:34i.e. they didn't cook food for us
10:37because whatever happened we used to give charity
10:41Syed Ayesha said in another hadith that
10:43it never happened that we were in the house of the Prophet
10:47and we ate food for three days
10:50she didn't say it as a complaint
10:52that's why she said that we could eat
10:55but we used to give charity
10:57Hazrat Umar Farooq said that
11:00the Prophet used to collect a year's worth of food for his wives
11:07i.e. he used to give them a year's worth of non-profit
11:10like he used to give the wealth of the old
11:13now they have a year's worth of food
11:15but they didn't keep it but they used to give charity
11:19so three days didn't pass in the house of the Prophet that we ate food
11:23so she is saying that there was no fire in the houses of the Prophet
11:28if they didn't keep anything they used to cook
11:30so they used to fast and eat dates etc
11:34and this is how they lived
11:36so Hazrat Urwah says that
11:38I asked, oh aunt, then what did you live on?
11:41when you eat, a stove doesn't burn, food doesn't cook
11:44what did you live on?
11:45so Syed Ayesha said on two black things
11:48dates and water
11:50she said on two black things
11:52because Arabs used to put dates in water at night
11:56and they used to keep the utensils in a place where there is air
12:00you know that it is very cold in the desert at night
12:03and it is very hot during the day
12:05so when there is cold air at night
12:07the juice of the dates comes into the water
12:11and it gets cold
12:12so the water of those dates used to turn black
12:16i.e. the color used to change
12:18if you put dates in water at night
12:20the color of the dates changes
12:22that is why Syed Ayesha said
12:24on two black things
12:26dates and water
12:27although there were some Ansari neighbors of the Prophet
12:32they had goats
12:34they used to send milk to the Prophet
12:37so he used to give them milk
12:40now look at this matter
12:42that my Prophet is the first and last
12:47Allah has kept the keys of the treasures of the universe in his hands
12:50as it is mentioned in the hadiths
12:52but Prophet Muhammad
12:54in appearance
12:55for the education of the Ummah
12:57and to be more accepted in the court of Allah
13:03with this effort
13:04that he took the whole world
13:07he did not keep anything with him
13:09and show such a ruler
13:11in the whole history
13:13such a great personality
13:15who ruled everyone's heart
13:17and if he wanted
13:19he could have put a pile of all the gifts
13:21but my master did not take any favor
13:23and if someone has done
13:25not favor but service
13:27which the Prophet is interpreting as favor
13:29it was your humility
13:31if he had done
13:32then as I said
13:33the government used to pay him back
13:35so if it is called poverty
13:37then it was the poverty of choice
13:39otherwise my master
13:41if he wanted
13:43he could have lived a great life
13:45according to the apparent people
13:47but it was for the education of the Ummah
13:49and then
13:51he was a role model
13:53but if the government
13:55lived a normal life
13:57then those who were going to be poor
13:59till the end of this Ummah
14:01there would not have been such a role model for them
14:03so in reality there is no wealthier than the government
14:05in the creation
14:07you have the treasures of the universe
14:09so in my opinion
14:11you are a role model for both
14:13both types of people
14:15so now she says
14:17some Ansari neighbors used to send milk
14:19and this is according to our topic
14:21that they used to send milk as a gift
14:23as a gift
14:25the government used to accept it
14:27and used to consume it
14:29this means sending things to each other
14:31is a good thing
14:33it is much better
14:35but I request
14:37you to keep a good example
14:39like in the neighborhood
14:41they used to send meat
14:43they used to make
14:45Niyaz
14:47the food is only for Allah
14:49Allah's nearness is the aim
14:51Allah will give the reward
14:53this is our view
14:55but we make such food
14:57and give the reward
14:59to our religious elders
15:01because in Hadith
15:03our good deeds
15:05reach to others
15:07so this is a tradition
15:09you should be sincere
15:11sometimes
15:13we are greedy
15:15we want to take
15:17some benefits from someone
15:19so we make good food for them
15:21or if there is an employee
15:23so he sends his goat
15:25to the boss
15:27he doesn't give it to the other relatives
15:29he sends it to them for promotion
15:31this is not sincerity
15:33you should have given a gift
15:35for the sake of Allah
15:37giving a gift is a blessed tradition
15:39but you gave it
15:41for your own purpose
15:43so there will be no reward
15:45and you will regret in the hereafter
15:47so be sincere
15:49and keep in mind
15:51that Allah has said
15:53la tubtuloo sadaqatikum
15:55bil manni wal adha
15:57show your charity
15:59and don't waste it
16:01so
16:03sadaqa
16:05means
16:07giving charity
16:09sadaqa means
16:11spending for the sake of Allah
16:13if spending
16:15is obligatory
16:17then it is called sadaqat-e-wajiba
16:19like zakat, fitra,
16:21sacrifice
16:23you don't have to distribute meat
16:25but sacrifice is obligatory
16:27and when you do it
16:29like you have to give sadaqa
16:31to a dead person
16:33or a dead person made a will
16:35and you have to give sadaqa
16:37so it is called sadaqat-e-wajiba
16:39and if Shariah
16:41doesn't make it obligatory
16:43then you give it for your own purpose
16:45it is called sadaqat-e-naafila
16:47both can be used
16:49and there is a gift
16:51when you give a gift
16:53it is a sadaqa
16:55for the sake of Allah
16:57Quran says
16:59that after giving sadaqa
17:01don't show kindness
17:03and don't hurt others
17:05otherwise you will lose your reward
17:07I am addressing my
17:09respected sisters
17:11because I have felt
17:13that if a relative
17:15sends something
17:17then sometimes they taunt
17:19in a big gathering
17:21that we have been sending you
17:23and you did this and that
17:25you don't say this
17:27you say that you did wrong
17:29you shouldn't have done this
17:31but when we show kindness
17:33when we don't show kindness
17:35but we hurt someone
17:37many people
17:39come to ask every third day
17:41every third day
17:43and that poor person is asking
17:45you are not showing kindness
17:47but your words will break his heart
17:49and that person is afraid
17:51that he will be blamed
17:53so sometimes
17:55you do something for Allah
17:57but you show kindness
17:59and you hurt
18:01in the society
18:03you will not get any reward
18:05but if Allah is angry
18:07then there is a punishment for this
18:09Allah will punish you
18:11so my brothers and sisters
18:13who did kindness to someone
18:15and then they
18:17showed kindness
18:19and hurt someone
18:21and with whom this happened
18:23if you have
18:25a true believer
18:27a true believer
18:29then you ask for forgiveness
18:31may Allah help us to understand
18:33Ameen
18:51Ameen
