00:00Hello, I'm Oliver Coppard, South Yorkshire's Mayor, and this is a message about some very
00:04special young people from across South Yorkshire who are heading down to London today to do us all
00:09proud. They're going to perform at the Royal Albert Hall later today at the Music for Youth Prom
00:15as part of our newly formed South Yorkshire Music Hub. 150 performers from South Yorkshire's
00:20orchestra will be on stage this evening in front of an audience of over 4,000 people.
00:26I know there's going to be excitement and nerves and a lot of exhausted teachers on
00:29the four buses that are on their way to London at the moment from Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham
00:34and Sheffield. And there will be lots of very proud parents and carers waiting with bated breath
00:40to hear how it went. Across South Yorkshire we have hugely talented, committed and inspiring
00:46children who get and give joy through the music that they make. I'm really sorry to be missing
00:50the performance but I have absolutely no doubt that it will be amazing. And to our young musicians,
00:55if you don't know already and not to add to the pressure, you'll be performing for everyone in
01:00South Yorkshire. We're all with you in spirit. Enjoy it. I know you're absolutely going to smash it.
