00:00Yesterday I spoke to a Cervantes resident, Melissa King, who has now evacuated to Durian
00:08Bay.
00:09Yesterday she was quite concerned about the property and since then the fire has only
00:12edged closer to the Cervantes town.
00:15However, today she is more concerned.
00:17She's got a daughter who's currently on that fire front with Parks and Wildlife and that
00:21is her main concern today.
00:23She said she wasn't able to sleep last night due to worry for her daughter and I think
00:27that is something we will be seeing a lot more today.
00:30These firefighters have been here since Monday, it's been a long week.
00:33There's definitely heat to contend with so fatigue and keeping morale up is definitely
00:39going to be a big issue for firefighters in the coming days.
