00:00The Department of Migrant Workers confirmed the expected return of Mary Jane Veloso's brother this week,
00:08according to DMW Secretary Hans Leo Kakdak.
00:11Currently, the government is filing a complaint that Veloso's brother will be slapped
00:17against his boss in Saudi Arabia for his abuse of him.
00:22It should also be noted that Kakdak personally visited some of Veloso's family
00:27to ask for help such as financial assistance and grocery packs.
00:33In addition, the Department of Migrant Workers promised to provide psychological counseling
00:38for Mary Jane's eldest son as well as to provide skills training
00:43under the visa of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority or TESDA.
00:48Meanwhile, the Veloso family is very grateful to President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.
00:55Because of the good negotiation of the case and the expected return of Mary Jane to the country,
01:00the government assured her family.
01:05We provided assurances of government support and assistance.
01:08We were directed by the President to continually support the family.
