00:07My name is Zainal Binti Muhammad Zain from UMPSA.
00:10I represent my group for an innovation project
00:14called Remotely Operated Underwater Cleaning Robot.
00:17The issue for this innovation started from
00:20problems in the UMPSA sub-ponds.
00:22When there are sub-ponds,
00:25we can have problems with cleaning the sub-ponds
00:28because we know that the cleaning process
00:31requires a professional diver to clean the sub-ponds.
00:34When we have to hire a professional diver,
00:39it's a bit costly.
00:40So, from there, we started to think about
00:45how to deal with this problem.
00:49With that, we started to come up with ideas to use the robot.
00:53We can divide the robot into two main parts.
00:57The first part is the robot cleaning itself.
01:01It is used to clean the sub-ponds and the walls.
01:06The second part is related to the sensor module
01:11that we attach to the robot
01:13to record the water quality.
01:16This sensor has four pH values.
01:18We have temperature, depth, pressure, and pH sensors.
01:27The robot cleans the sub-ponds and the walls of the UMPSA sub-ponds.
01:35This is a filter that will absorb dust in the water.
01:41Next, we will install it.
01:43This is for the roller.
01:49Lastly, this is the robot arm.
01:52The robot arm is attached to the sensor here.
01:55The purpose of this part is to adjust
02:00to get the right buoyancy for this robot.
02:04This is our underwater camera
02:07to monitor the real-time condition of the water.
02:11My hope is that like other participants,
02:15to go to the final round and win the competition.
02:19However, what is more important for us as an educational institution,
02:23we hope that our achievements in the second season of InnoVation
02:28will be an inspiration to the students out there
02:31or other higher education institutions
02:35to be more involved in research
02:39and also to open the eyes of young people
02:43to continue to be interested in the field of technology in STEM.
