00:00We'll have our Patriots guests, as normal on a Patriots Monday, Hunter Henry, Patriots
00:04tight end joining us right now, he's brought to you by Shaw's and Star Market, perfecting
00:07the art afresh.
00:08Hunter Henry, how are we feeling after the big hit yesterday that you took on the field?
00:12We saw you leave for a series of plays, how are you doing today?
00:16I'm good.
00:17You're good.
00:18Can you take us through the process after that hit?
00:20You missed I think eight snaps, which I was surprised it was that few.
00:24What's that process like?
00:25Are you talking to team doctors, the independent spotter?
00:29How does that process work after a big hit like that?
00:32Yeah, just talking to everybody.
00:34I got pulled as a spotter, so it was just kind of late protocol, so I just got to go
00:39through the process, ask some questions, and go through everything, and we did it the right
00:44way.
00:45Everybody did it the right way, and I'm able to get back out there.
00:47We were just talking about that final drive, at least in a situation to set up a potential
00:53game-winning field goal.
00:56Twelve seconds left.
00:57You guys do have a couple of timeouts.
00:58Can you take us through that, because obviously they're playing a deep pre-event defense,
01:02you're just trying to pick up as many yards as you can, but also doing it before the clock
01:06runs out.
01:07Yeah, just trying to get ourselves in a position to either, obviously we kicked it at the end,
01:13or do a home area, whatever it was the case, just trying to give us better chances at the
01:20end.
01:21I don't know what your view was like, but from the TV vantage point, as soon as Sly
01:26kicked it, it looked pretty good.
01:28I mean, it was dead down the middle, and then obviously just fell a couple yards short,
01:32but from your vantage point, what did it look like?
01:34Yeah, I mean, it was a good kick, and obviously on line, just obviously wish we could have
01:40maybe picked up a few more yards, make it easier on them.
01:43Drake May took responsibility after the game for putting the ball on the wrong shoulder
01:48on the interception, the throw to you down by the goal line.
01:51What happened on that play?
01:53Nah, I mean, that's on me, man.
01:55I gotta make that.
01:56So, I gotta be better.
01:57I mean, that's on him, that's on me.
02:00Do you say anything to Drake after a play like that?
02:04I just say it's on me, man.
02:05That's all I told him, and that I gotta make it.
02:09Overall, though, the last few weeks, well, really your whole season, and then the last
02:13few weeks for Austin Hooper, the tight end production has really gone up.
02:17I mean, you and Austin were the leading receivers with both catches and yards yesterday.
02:21Good to see the production from that position moving up.
02:25Yeah, I mean, obviously Hooper is a great football player, and he's awesome to have
02:30in the room, and the guys have done it for a long time, so it's always good to have him
02:34out there.
02:35I love competing with him.
02:37You guys have been stuck on three wins now for a little bit.
02:40You hit the bye week.
02:41What are the goals for the final month when you come back?
02:44I think it's just get healthy right now.
02:48Enjoy a couple days off, and then, yeah, just be ready to attack, and then we'll get back.
02:53You know, yesterday across the NFL was the My Cause My Cleats, and I noticed you were
02:59one of the players that was able to design your own cleats, and can you just tell everybody
03:03what they were for?
03:05Yeah, I supported a ministry and nonprofit that was called Compassion International,
03:13and their slogan is to release all children from poverty in Jesus' name, and they just
03:20help kids across the globe that are just a lot less fortunate, that do not have the resources
03:27and the means like we do to be able to have things, do things, anything, so I support
03:34them, and they do incredible work.
03:37That's a great cause.
03:38I'm curious, how much input do you have in the cleats themselves?
03:42They're pretty sweet, the light blue and everything on there, so how much creative
03:47say did you have?
03:49A little bit.
03:50I kind of leave it up to the designer more than my ideas, but he did a great job.
03:57Before we let you go, Hunter, what are your plans for the bye week that is right around
04:01the corner?
04:03Just spend some time with family, man, and try to regroup and be ready to go on this
04:09back half of the season.
04:10Okay.
04:11Patriots tie-down Hunter Henry joins us every Monday here on Jones and Keefe's Patriots
04:15Monday.
04:16Hunter, we appreciate the time.
04:17Enjoy the bye week.
04:18We'll talk to you soon.
04:19All right, guys.
04:20Thanks, Hunter.
