00:17Good morning. The National Security Council is considering Maccabayan Black as a concern

00:23to continue the impeachment case against Vice President Sara Duterte.

00:27This is also in line with the first statement of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

00:33that it is not in favor of the possibility that the Vice President will go through the impeachment proceedings.

00:42According to NSC Deputy Director General Jonathan Malaya,

00:45they are still seeing a group of leftists in the chamber to pursue the impeachment case

00:51and this is where the principles of Joma Sison will be challenged.

00:55This is the development of a scenario that will result in violent rallies and demonstrations

01:01and from there, a vision will emerge that there is no stability or chaos in the country.

01:07Maccabayan Black wants to fight the so-called ruling class, the political class,

01:13because it is class warfare.

01:14And then they will carry out violent rallies and demonstrations

01:18just like what happened in Unifacio Day where police were injured.

01:21And when they created this impression of instability,

01:24that is where they will enter so that the trust of the entire country in the government will be lost.

01:30That is why the National Security Council is concerned.

01:33According to NSC Deputy Director General Jonathan Malaya,

01:36they are in agreement with the President's statement that the impeachment complaint should not continue

01:41Now, if the process of questioning the Vice President will continue,

01:45it will only be temporary to address the more important thing that should be noted.

01:51The focus of those in the legislature will only be removed

01:55if the impeachment against VT-Sara happens immediately.

02:01The President clearly stated that the needs of our countrymen should be addressed

02:05and if there is such an impeachment, the attention of our legislature and all of our country will be lost to such issues.

02:14Yesterday, the impeachment complaint was filed against the Vice President

02:18by various groups such as Magdaluh, Pamamayang Liberal, Tinding Pilipinas,

02:23Families of Drug War Victims, and Church Members.

02:26The charges are counted as

02:28culpable violation of the Constitution, betrayal of public trust, bribery, and graft and corruption.
