00:14regarding child safety in cyberspace.

00:23The Department of Justice is targeting the safety of children in cyberspace

00:27in a so-called storytelling activity.

00:30This was conducted on November 27, 2024

00:33in Robinson's Mall, Manila

00:35as part of the 2024 National Children's Month

00:40with private partners such as PLDT and Smart Communications.

00:45The DOJ held a storytelling session for children

00:50using the book, Paglakbay ni Tala.

00:53The aim of the story is to inform children about the dangers

00:58that can be found in the online world.

01:01The Philippine Information Agency

01:03prioritized the use of colorful puppets

01:06so that the story of the children will be more appealing.

01:10The activity is part of the violation of Republic Act No. 10661

01:16that violates the rights of children.

01:19Undersecretary-in-Charge for the Inter-Agency

01:48against online trafficking and other forms of abuse.

02:13The DOJ Development Plan 2023 to 2028

02:17will serve as a guide to support

02:20and advance the new Philippines campaign

02:23of the Marcos Administration.

02:25According to Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Boyeng C. Remulia,

02:29the DOJ Development Plan is a roadmap

02:32that focuses on the main goals of the Marcos Administration,

02:36including strengthening public order and safety.

02:40In a ceremony this Friday,

02:43the plan endorsed by the DOJ as the primary agency

02:47in three main aspects.

02:50Improving the administration of justice,

02:52improving regulation,

02:54and strengthening good governance.

02:57The plan includes strategies and legislative agenda,

03:01as well as programs that will ensure

03:04the improvement of public service

03:06and strengthening of institutions.

03:09Secretary Remulia affirmed that the Development Plan

03:12will serve as a strong guide or action plan

03:16for the DOJ to strengthen

03:19a strong and effective justice system in the country.
