00:00Out of the power structure of Gerard Mayo, Alex Van Pelt, Demarcus Covington, and Elliott Wolfe,
00:06for this conversation, out of those four guys, who do you think is most likely to be back,
00:12like the safest to be back for 2025, all the way down to who is most likely to not be back?
00:19Well, that's a tough one. Who's going to lose? Well...
00:24I mean, just most likely, like who's safest, who's the least safe?
00:27I would say Covington is probably in the most tenuous. I don't think any of them are going to
00:31lose their jobs. I think Covington is in the most tenuous spot. And then it would go Van Pelt,
00:39then Mayo, then Wolfe. But again, I think it's less than 90% chance for the top three,
00:46and probably closer to 85. I think they'll bring support in for any and all of them.
00:51Um, certainly for Covington, I think Van Pelt, if the Patriots considered moving on from Van Pelt,
00:59I would question everything about their decision making. He is the least of their freaking problems.
01:07Why, uh, why do you have Wolfe? Well, no, I just, well, I'm just curious why you have Wolfe
01:11as the safest then, and not Van Pelt as the safest. They're so committed, because they're so,
01:16no, I'm because I'm trying to predict what they would do. My opinion of what they would do. I
01:22would tell, I would walk into Elliot Wolfe's office right now and say, you better not screw
01:26anything up. And if anybody gets released as a GM who we like, bye. I mean, it's been, it's,
01:33I just added up the six wide receivers they've selected since 2018. It's Jalen Polk, Javon Baker,
01:43DeMario Douglas, Trey Nixon, Tyquan Thornton, and Nikhil Harry. And yes, it does date back to Bill,
01:52but that's, that's, that's the only six guys they've drafted. And, you know, he's on the hook
01:57for three of them, Thornton, excuse me, four, and Douglas has been productive. So Douglas,
02:06Polk, Baker, and you want to have that group in the personnel department
02:12in charge of finding the wide receivers to help support Drake May. I would not.
