00:00The lack of experience was an issue.
00:02This is a very experienced coaching staff,
00:04but it is a lot of guys who have been there,
00:06done that as head coaches.
00:08How do those personalities mix,
00:10especially when a number of them have never
00:12coached together before?
00:14I think there's going to have to be
00:18a tamping down of
00:20personal preferences.
00:22McDaniel's been a head coach in two different locations.
00:24He's been in the league and coached in
00:26I don't know how many AFC championships
00:28and Super Bowls.
00:30He's got a way that he wants of doing
00:32things, but
00:34I'm sure that he's going to have to look
00:36at Mike Vrabel and say, what do you want, Mike?
00:38What do you want to see from me? How do you want me to
00:40work with Doug? Doug, what do you see from your
00:42offensive line if Doug Marone is indeed
00:44the offensive line coach? What's your vision?
00:46And then meld them together.
00:48I think when you have people who
00:50have great experience
00:52in doing something,
00:54they're going to bring their own visions
00:56to things. But if you're hired
00:58by someone else,
01:00like if you're hired someplace else
01:02to be a talk show host and somebody
01:04is above you,
01:06you're going to say, what do you want me to do?
01:08How do you want me to best serve you?
01:10I think Vrabel
01:12kind of said that. In service to
01:14whatever your team is trying to accomplish,
01:16you have to be
01:18in a mindset of servitude,
01:20I guess.
