00:00The government will continue to support the agricultural sector by procuring mobile soil laboratories for all regions,
00:07President Marcos, Jr. announced on Friday.
00:11President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. led the inauguration of the first mobile soil laboratory in Malacañang
00:17and committed to deploying 16 more units across the country by early 2025.
00:23The MSL project initiated by the Bureau of Soils and Water Management
00:28aims to provide agricultural stakeholders with better access to soil laboratory services,
00:34ensuring sustainable soil management and improved crop productivity.
00:39The MSL will be stationed at the Department of Agriculture's regional soils laboratories
00:44and serve 10 beneficiaries daily, offering scientific farming knowledge and tools to
00:49help farmers improve soil health, use fertilizers properly, and achieve higher yields.
