00:00Six residents were killed in a fire that erupted in a residential building in Sampaloc, Manila.

00:06An investigation is underway into the cause of the fire, the Christmas lights.

00:11This is Vona Quino.

00:16It was a stressful early morning when three residential buildings in Sampaloc, Manila caught fire.

00:22When I woke up, there was a lot of smoke.

00:24When I lay down, there was a lot of help.

00:29When we went down, the road was hot.

00:33There were explosions.

00:36According to the Manila Fire District, it was difficult to enter the area because the road was narrow.

00:41We had to climb up to suppress the fire.

00:45This is the entrance, exit, and the entrance to the building.

00:51This is how narrow the road to the burned residential area is.

00:55According to Adelaida Pili, one of the owners of the burned house,

00:59they have been living there since the 1970s.

01:02But when different structures were built near the road, their road slowly shrank outward.

01:09In the first investigation, the fire started in the first floor, which reached the second alarm.

01:38When they saw the body of Ricardo Lopez, his wife, Laila, and their son, Jillian, 9 years old.
