00:00away from home, a half-twelve kick-off as well, so an interesting chance to show the
00:09other sides around them early on in the day that they are there and they are competing.
00:13They've only lost three games so far this season, fantastic results going for them,
00:20they've picked up a bundle of wins as well. How do you see this game panning out, going
00:25to a Yorkshire rival, Lancashire, going closer to them? It's an interesting one and they'll
00:33travel well as they always do and they want to get another fantastic three points in the
00:37Championship.
00:38Well, Leeds have had a lot of lunchtime kick-offs this season so far, which I don't actually
00:42think they're too happy about because it upsets their rhythm a little bit when you have that
00:46many lunchtime kick-offs in terms of your preparation for games etc. But regardless,
00:51they're going to Preston and Leeds will naturally be favourites in this game because Preston
00:55sat bottom half of the table, but this is the sort of game that Leeds have struggled
01:00in this season so far. I know Blackburn are a play-off contender at the moment but they
01:04lost a lunchtime kick-off game against Blackburn away from home 1-0, they've lost against Millwall
01:121-0 away from home, they drew 0-0 against Bristol City, lunchtime, away from home. This
01:18is the type of game that this season so far Leeds have really struggled with. Obviously
01:22before that they've got a tough game against Middlesbrough which at the time of recording
01:26we haven't seen the results of but should they not get all three points there that puts
01:30the pressure on this one a little bit, especially if teams around them pick up points. Obviously
01:33if they beat Middlesbrough then fair enough, it takes it off a little bit but at the same
01:38time they also still want to be ironing out that away issue, which as I mentioned they've
01:43had this season because they need to be doing that otherwise they can't just be relying
01:47on their home form this season as much as they have done. Other teams are picking up
01:51wins away from home, Leeds haven't done that to the extent that they should be doing that
01:56this season and that's where also all their losses have come from, well two of their losses
02:01have come from and they've had one loss at home against Burnley. They just need to make
02:07sure that they kill these games off early against sides they should be beating. It is
02:12a worry for Daniel Farker but I think it's an ideal opportunity against Preston to write
02:17some of those wrongs. If they don't do it, you then worry where the Leeds go from there
02:21because they'll no doubt go and win the next lot of home games but will they then go and
02:26win the next lot of away games in the festive period with so many fixtures to come? Who
02:31knows where they'll end up by the end of it.
02:33Looking at Preston, obviously a lot of draws for them as of recent, they need to make sure
02:41they turn that into wins. It's going to be a heated game and one they're going to want
02:44to win, especially at home.
02:46Certainly, Preston of course, they wouldn't just keep their heads above water in the Championship
02:51because they're only two points above the relegation zone. So for them against a side
02:55like Leeds, it would be a big scalp.
