00:00You've had quite the year. You've had Gladiator 2, Thelma.
00:04Is it kind of crazy looking back on your year?
00:07And what would you say was the most pinch-me moment so far?
00:10It's wild. What's so wild is that every film was made in a different time period.
00:16It was just kind of serendipitous that they came out so close in this year.
00:20So it looks like I have a clone or something, but really it's all the work of a couple years.
00:28It's been tons of pinch-me moments.
00:32You meet artists that mean so much to you and you get to talk to them.
00:39Meeting all these people that want to see the movie, it's been a kind of continuous pinch-me.
00:47What would you say was a highlight of making this film in particular?
00:53The character of the chameleon was one that has so many interpretations in all the comic books
01:01that it was really fun to be able to read through and look at and study all these different interpretations.
01:08What would you say is the craziest stunt that you saw Aaron do?
01:13Because I feel like everyone's been talking about a lot of them.
01:16Aaron was just not eating any carbs. I felt bad for him every lunchtime.
01:23Because I'd be sitting there with my meal and I didn't want him to see it. I didn't want to make him jealous.
01:27Was everyone training together?
01:29I was not training the way he was training. I'll tell you that.
01:33There's a car chase fight that Aaron and the stunt team built together that's really impressive.
01:45I remember when we filmed it. Just the scale of that.
01:49I make all different kinds of movies.
01:51It's really amazing when you see all the craftsmanship coming together on something of that scale.
01:57Like I said, you've had a lot of projects come out this year.
02:00What is your favorite movie of 2024?
02:04That's a great question.
02:07I've seen so many movies I love. Can I rattle off a couple?
02:11I think Janet Planet came out this year, right?
02:15If so, Janet Planet. Knocked my socks off. I love that movie.
02:23The performances in Enora have stuck with me so much.
02:32I just saw an amazing movie a couple nights ago called All We Imagine Is Light.
02:37It's an Indian film. It's her first narrative feature.
02:41She made a documentary. I literally saw it three nights ago.
02:44I can't recommend it enough.
02:46This is a movie that really gets in your heart.
02:53You really feel the presence of a city and a group of people.
