00:00Good evening from Easter Road where the Christmas songs are layering out across
00:06Tannoy. An early present for the home faithful after Hibs won 3-1 against Ross
00:12County to elevate themselves from bottom of the table to 8th in the
00:17premiership. A huge win against one of their direct rivals in the relegation
00:20battle. Although for a spell Hibs were going to lose once again. A goal down
00:25early after Eli Campbell headed the Sluggies in front and Hibs largely
00:29wretched for much of the first half. Really struggled to make inroads until
00:33Dwight Gale scored in the sixth minute of first half. Stoppage time. After that
00:37Hibs were much improved and deserved to get the victory. Goals from Ellie
00:42Uhan from the penalty spot and then a late goal from Josh Campbell gave them
00:46the victory. They also missed a penalty at 1-1 through Nicky Caddon but in the
00:50end that mattered little. For Ross County their poor away form continues
00:55winless on the road in the premiership since September 2023 and you feel that
00:59Don Kelly has to find a cure to their travel sickness otherwise they could be
01:03the ones occupying 11th off 12th spot. For Hibs manager David Gray though some
01:08breathing space much needed after this win over Ross County. It finished here
01:11Hibs 3, Ross County 1.
