Nathan Judah and Liam Keen give their take as Wolves slipped to yet another defeat - this time against relegation rivals Ipswich Town.
A calamitous own goal from Matt Doherty put Ipswich ahead - before Mathues Cunha equalised 18 minutes from time.
It looked to be heading for a draw but substitute Jack Taylor headed home in the last minute to break Wolves hearts.

00:00Hello I'm Nathan Tudor, I'm here with Wolves Report, here's Mr Liam Keane. Liam, Wolverhampton
00:11Wanderers 1, you've switched to Town 2. Don't know where to begin, a really horrible first
00:16half of football. Wolves finally get back into the game through Mateus Cunha and for
00:20all intents and purposes look like they're going to get a winner. Time and time again
00:23Wolves bombarded forward and then an absolute sucker punch to finish the game and it's just
00:29left everyone in this ground reeling. Yeah I mean it's the same old rubbish, same old
00:35nonsense, same old mistakes. I'll go chronologically, this team in that first half didn't create
00:42a lot of clear-cut chances but created enough to edge the half in my opinion, which didn't
00:46offer a lot. But what there was in that first half, as we've seen time and time again, was
00:51a calamitous goal. I mean it's a shocking goal to concede. It starts with Samedo, who
00:57by the way is not the only player I'm going to say this about, but probably had his worst
01:00game of the season today. His first game as the new captain and I have to call it as I
01:05see it and he was really poor. Gets bullied off the ball by De Lapp in an area really
01:10where the ball falls for him and he should deal with it, he should deal with it pretty
01:13easily. He's got multiple chances to deal with it. Exactly, gets knocked off the ball,
01:16De Lapp wins it, ball comes in. Now Doxey makes the original block from Hutchinson's
01:21shot, comes back out. I think it was Chaplin. And yes, it was unfortunate in the way that
01:27Totti goes to clear in, it comes off Doxey and goes in. They are slightly unlucky but
01:33it's just an embarrassing look. It's such novice, amateurish stuff. Well he could have
01:38gone in cleanly if it wasn't for Dox throwing himself over the ball and then Sam Johnson
01:42comes out. So regardless, it was a terrible move and awful defensively from Wolves' point
01:48of view. They go 1-0 down. Again, they probably shaded the half in my opinion without probably
01:52doing enough to score. Get through to half-time, needed to make a change and Tomlindoor comes
01:57on. I think he makes an impact. He gets Wolves playing, he gets Wolves moving. Guedes comes
02:01on in the first 60 second minute, I think it was, makes a real impact. Huge impact.
02:06Has probably his best game of the season. Does really, really well. Kwan comes in, makes
02:10less of an impact but at least something, offers something, made runs, looked after
02:14the ball well. Let's be honest, Ondrej and Bellegarde came off, both of them again.
02:19Awful displays. You nailed it. Ondrej off at half-time, his worst probably in a Wolves
02:23shirt, same as Samada as I've said. Bellegarde off to ironic jeers a bit later in that second
02:30half. He was really poor today, really, really bad. And Wolves somehow, out of nowhere, drag
02:38themselves back into the game. Now again, slightly fortunate probably in the way that
02:41the goal goes in at near post, New York should really cover it. But Kunja scores, eighth
02:45goal of the season, the crowd are backing it. Wolves are on top. The crowd have been
02:48chanting against Jeff Shee, chanting against Fosu all afternoon. And then the crowd are
02:51with them. The crowd are with the players, they're urging them on.
02:54This is the atmosphere that they wanted.
02:55Exactly. The players are responding, the fans are giving it to them, working in perfect
03:00harmony. I've got absolutely no idea how Wolves don't get a winner. Absolutely no
03:03idea. They're creating chance after chance after chance. They're battering it, Switch.
03:07What happens? Three minutes of added time go up. Corner. Totti clears it, goes out for
03:14a corner. I turned to you, 10 seconds left on the clock. And I said, this absolutely
03:19terrifies me. Turn around, watch it. It's a good cross, but not a single person takes
03:24responsibility for the cross. Not a single person gets their head on it. Ain't Nori's
03:28weakly defending Taylor. It's the easiest header he's going to have in his career.
03:33He just steps in, back post, nods it into the far corner. It is so simple, it is so
03:37easy. And I don't know why the players aren't quite getting it. Now, that has to come down
03:43to the management in some way as well. It can't all come down to the players, but it
03:46has to be a mixture of the two. And it's set pieces time and time again. I think off the
03:50top of my head now, that's 15 set piece goals in 16 Premier League games they've conceded.
03:56Time, I'm pretty sure that's correct. Time and time again, set pieces. And Wolves lose
04:01it in the 93rd minute. Ipswich, rightly so, go bonkers. And Wolves lose it. The Wolves
04:09lose their heads again. And why Wolves? I mean, Ryan ain't Nori, loses it. He's restrained
04:13by I think Bentley and then Dawson and also Neil Cutler getting involved. Fortunately,
04:17there's no staff members going head to head with players at this time, but there is players
04:21losing it. He's restrained, otherwise he's getting booked. Kunya loses it very briefly
04:25then calms down. Again, another embarrassing look for Wolves. Absolutely embarrassing at
04:30full time. After everything that happened on Monday Night Football with Mario Lamina,
04:35and then there's another bus stop. It's a worrying trend, isn't it? You cannot do that.
04:39No. And as much as you can say and you can talk the talk and you can change captaincy,
04:43you can say we're working on it. You know, we've got to keep our emotions in check.
04:47Talk is cheap and they are not doing it on the pitch, not doing it, playing on the pitch,
04:51not doing it after full time. It's a disgrace. And look, this team looks like a relegation
04:56team at this moment in time. I completely agree. They've got time. They've got time
04:59to turn it around. But I tell you what, Ipswich as well, the manner of it. Ipswich one win all
05:03season, one win all season, 18th versus 19th and you've let them go three points above you now.
05:09That gap gets bigger and bigger. And no disrespect to Ipswich, sorry to cut you off.
05:16They're well organised. They're disciplined. They're things that Wolves aren't, by the way.
05:20But they're nothing special. They didn't offer a lot. Again, no disrespect to them.
05:25They've had a fantastic story getting back up to the Premier League.
05:28But they offered very little today and Wolves found a way to lose the game. Ipswich didn't
05:33find a way to win it. Wolves found a way to lose it. That's the worrying thing. They're losing games
05:38at alarming rates via their own incompetence.
05:42The last thing Wolves wanted was to go down 1-0 down early in this game. It just sucks the life
05:46out of it and it did. And as we predicted, they went for Geoff Shee today. They went for Fosun
05:51today. Now, we're not sure whether Geoff Shee was here in attendance. He wasn't in his normal
05:55director's box. See, that's not to say that he wasn't in a box somewhere. But this is toxic. This
05:59is toxic and it's going to get worse because if results do not improve, that is going to get
06:04louder and louder and louder. Maudible. 22nd December, next Sunday, Leicester City away.
06:11Leicester have gone to Newcastle 4-0 today. I tell you what, that is... We thought this was
06:18a big game today and they've blown it. It's another Muslim game. If they get beat next week,
06:24then there's going to be huge repercussions and it can't just be a captain change here
06:28or a staff change there. There's going to be some massive changes because this cannot continue.
06:33You cannot defend this club. You cannot defend this side. You cannot defend these players,
06:36this management and this ownership because something's going to happen. And I tell you
06:41what, if something does happen, if it happens too late, Wolves will be in the championship already.
06:45And they're going there at this moment in time. They're going one way at the moment
06:49and something has to give. Now, January is going to be massive for that,
06:53but they've got to get to January with some life left in them. At the moment,
06:56all life has been totally sucked out of them. And Leicester, as much as I've not been impressed by
07:02them this season, Wolves' line at times in the second half with the space in behind,
07:08Jamie Vardy running in behind scares the living daylights out of me right now when I think about
07:11that game. That's got Wolves' low block, which is not exactly ambitious, but low block,
07:20back five written all over it in my opinion. Wolves cannot allow him spacing behind because
07:23they will get turned over. This team cannot defend. They cannot see a game out and they've
07:29got no discipline. And I don't want to have to do this to individual players, but I've done it with
07:33a few. I'm going to do it again. Mario Lamina lost his captaincy. He was urged and expected
07:38and Gary Neal was excited by his opportunity to put on a big performance. Excited were the
07:43words he used. And that was nowhere near, again, his level. The body language, not just from him,
07:48but from him on the large part was really, really worrying. Shrugging, arms were in the air,
07:57wayward passes all over the place. He cannot continue to perform like that.
08:01No, two things. The person who's carrying Ryan McNaughey off the pitch, Craig Dawson,
08:05didn't get on today, wasn't playing for me. You bring Craig Dawson back into the side. I think
08:09you've got to do it against Leicester City. I know he had two own goals and we had a stinker,
08:12but I think that if you're going to try and defence that piece, you need someone in there
08:15who's going to be experienced, who's going to be disciplined, who's not going to be emotional.
08:20Craig Dawson is your person who's got to stand. He'll stand there and be counted. So I think
08:24he's the one. Also, the person who was carried off the pitch, we're not going to see him again
08:27for a couple of weeks because Ryan Murray's suspended. He picked up his fifth booking
08:30of the season. So there's going to be another change again. I think there's probably going
08:33to be multiple changes. You can't get a right 11 at this moment in time. There's one, two,
08:38three, four changes and just don't know what you're going to get with Wolves. What you would
08:42say is they could have quite easily won this game 3-1. Jorgenstern and Larsson could have had a hat
08:46trick today. You really could. Kunju had a great chance for the second. One-on-one, you don't want
08:51anyone else apart from Mateus Kunju on it. But it's not happening. It's not working in this
08:54moment in time. But talk is cheap. They've got to do it and they've got to do it quickly. Because
08:58if they don't, then you've got a difficult set of pitches coming up. They could be gone. They
09:02could be gone by Christmas at this point. Things have got to work out. And it's time for some
09:05brave decisions. And to everyone's credit, there has been some brave decisions. Now whether they've
09:10worked or not is another thing. Some players in that starting XI there, I think people can guess
09:15who I might be referring to, have to be dropped. There has to be repercussions for certain
09:21performances. The team performance overall across the full 90 minutes was not particularly poor.
09:28There were moments that were poor. And key moments, that's the problem. But there were
09:31some individual performances that were way below it once again. Individuals I've mentioned on this
09:37on this video. And that has to change. It will take time to sort this out. But once I've got
09:42time, Liam, that's the problem. Once I've not got time, they've got to sort it out quickly. By the
09:45way, Tommy Doyle, fair play, I thought he came on, he was excellent. And he has to play for me
09:48against Leicester. He has to start for me against Leicester City. Joe Govers coming back obviously
09:52will have a big impact on that. But when the two infielders that started for me were two of
09:56all these worst players. Absolutely, I agree. Joe Govers and Tommy Doyle for me is the one
10:00combination we've not really seen this season. Why not? Give them a go. I've seen every other
10:04combination hasn't worked. Absolute stigma tonight. Walls won. We'll switch time to
10:08for the post-match reaction. Make sure you log on to expressandstyle.com.
