00:00Good morning, here is the PTV news for today.
00:07The mandatory evacuation is still going on today for the residents living near Vulcan Canlaon.
00:14This is after the Office of the Civil Defense ordered last night that the 2,000 residents
00:23who live in the 6-kilometer-danger zone from La Catellana, San Carlos City, and La Carlota City in Negros Occidental
00:32and a few from Canlaon City in Negros Oriental will be evacuated.
00:36This is to avoid another eruption of the volcano.
00:42According to the Department of Social Welfare and Development,
00:45they have 2 billion stand-by funds allocated for the affected families of the eruption of the volcano.
00:55Meanwhile, in other news, the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission, or PAOC,
01:01warned that there should be no more POGOs operating in the country from today.
01:06According to Undersecretary Gilbert Cruz, since December 15,
01:10there is no longer a visa for POGOs operating in the country.
01:15The PAOC is expected to return to the remaining two or licensed POGOs operating until December.
01:23But since January, it is expected that there is no longer a single POGO operating in the country
01:29according to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s orders.
01:35And that's the news for now.
