More heavy rain is on the way for some areas of central and southern Queensland, which received more than 100 millimetres overnight.

00:27More than 100mm have fallen in other southern parts of the state, but it's a different
00:32story for north and western Queensland.
00:35Temperatures are expected to reach above 40 degrees in northern and western parts of the
00:41state today, like Mount Isa and Julia Creek.
00:44Needless to say, it's a very humid day here in Queensland.
