00:00Hello and welcome to our weekly what's on in Manchester video. It's a pretty
00:03self-explanatory concept so we're going to get straight into it.
00:06Wicked the musical is in Manchester at the Palace Theatre and looks said to be
00:09a wonderful experience for anyone who's keen to compare it to the film that's
00:12been attracting so much attention. Unlike the film the show covers the
00:15entirety of Elphaba and Glinda's friendship
00:18but rest assured you'll still be left wanting more. The show started on Monday
00:21and will run up to Sunday the 12th of January so there should be an
00:24opportunity to get some last minute tickets if you're quick.
00:26On to the winter holiday program at the Science and Industry Museum
00:29and one of Manchester's premier educational museums has become an
00:32amazing light lab for the Christmas period. There are thousands of dazzling
00:35lights with a gaming extravaganza and a host of sciency shows to keep everyone
00:39entertained. Away from Christmas Jurassic World the
00:42exhibition is now at the Trafford Centre. Tickets are on sale from around £13
00:45and so it feels like a bit of a slam dunk for a family day out. Finally
00:48there are hot house winter workshops at Media City
00:50with opportunities for crafting and creating anything from wreaths to cards.
00:54Some of them are completely free as well so it's well worth looking into.
00:58That's all for now, follow Manchester World for more.
