00:00From the Philippine News Agency, more than 6,000 residents have been evacuated
00:04from five barangays in Canlon City, which is inside a 6-kilometer permanent danger zone.
00:10According to the government of the city, more than 2,000 Martes families have been relocated
00:15while the families are living in the Shumna Evacuation Center in the area.
00:21Among the affected barangays are Pula, Masulog, Litulinutangan, Malaiba, and Lumapao.
00:28Meanwhile, the LGU has ordered an elderly man in the family to visit their farms every morning and afternoon.
00:36This is so that residents can monitor their crops and livestock.
00:40Authorities are also included in their visit to ensure their safety.
00:45The authorities are also continuing to relocate some farm animals that are far from the danger zone.
