00:00Eighteen barangays were flooded in four towns in the province of Oriental Mindoro due to shear line and typhoon Romina.

00:19Yes, Ma'am. Eighteen barangays in the province of Oriental Mindoro were affected on Monday
00:25due to the effect of Typhoon Romina and shear line experienced in a large part of the country.
00:31According to the data of the Provincial Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office or PDRRMO,
00:36including the towns of Baco, Victoria, Nauhan, and Lungsod of Galapagos were affected by the floods.
00:43The town of Baco was the most affected where in seven barangays the floods were experienced.
00:49According to the latest data, 32,181 individuals were affected or 4,788 families were affected in the mentioned towns.
01:01From this number, 67 families were inside evacuation centers and 417 families were outside evacuation centers.
01:11There are also several roads that are not accessible to all types of vehicles from the town of Baco and Lungsod of Calapan.
01:19Meanwhile, according to the DSWD Oriental Mindoro,
01:232,000 family food packs were distributed to those affected by the floods in the town of Baco.
01:30Food packs contained rice, canned goods, coffee, and cereals.
01:35Family food packs were distributed to other towns in the following days.
