00:00House Speaker Martin Romualdez agreed to the need of the Filipinos

00:05when they passed the 2025 General Appropriations Bill.

00:36House Speaker Martin Romualdez defended the distribution of government aid.

00:43In his final message before the session of the House last night,

00:47the House leader emphasized that this is a legitimate program

00:50and that the beneficiaries are real people.

00:53To those who are against government aid,

00:55the administration is ready to show where every cent spent is going.

01:01All of this program has a real beneficiary,

01:05there is a real receipt,

01:07there is no notice of disallowance from the Commission on Audit.

01:12The work of the Congress,

01:14this is a legitimate fund and I am sure that it will reach the beneficiaries.

01:19At the same time,

01:20Romualdez also defended the 2025 General Appropriations Bill of the Congress.

01:29they insisted that this is for the needs of the Filipinos.

01:38from healthcare to infrastructure.

01:48Romualdez also said that the House is ready to recommend

01:51the contribution of the members of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation or PhilHealth.

01:56This is done through the suspension of premium payments.

02:22on the violation of the PhilHealth Fund.
