00:00I lost about 14-15 kgs but I've gained about 2-3 kgs since Diwali. I will lose that gain weight soon and probably go down because for my height, I should be around 87-88. I'm 95-96 kgs now.
00:30I'm between 95-97 kgs now. It oscillates between 95-97. In the beginning, I was around 94 kgs. Now I'm around 95-96 kgs. It depends on how much I ate that day.
00:42The reaction of all three daughters was very good. They still react to my posts. Whenever I post some pictures of mine, Arjun also reacts to it.
00:56But Arjun is not as demonstrative as my daughters are. So, Anshula, Janvi, Khushi, they react to my posts instantly. Arjun, when he meets me, he says,
01:11Dad, you were looking good that day. What you were wearing was good. I've lost more weight. I've lost more weight than I've lost hair.
01:27He's my inspiration. I've got to compete with him. I'm 69 and he's younger to me. I've got to look younger than him. My motivation is to look younger than him.
01:42It depends on when the film is ready. I think it's a great script. I've waited long enough for the original star cast to be there.
02:02But everybody had their own reasons for holding up their consent. Finally, I respected their feelings and moved on.
02:12When this script was written 10 years ago, it was definitely our first choice. Till about a year back, I was keen, holding and waiting for Salman to say yes.
02:30But unfortunately, no one can change destiny. Many scripts were written for someone else. For example, Anand was written for Raj Kapoor.
02:41And that is the reason the film was dedicated to Raj Kapoor. There are so many such films which were meant like Sangam, initially Raj Kapoor wanted Dilip Kumar.
02:49But finally, it was Rajendra Kumar who was there in the film. A lot of times, a film is made for a specific subject.
02:55Awara was basically to be made by Mehboob Khan, with the same Raj uncle and Krithi Raj ji. But somehow, the script went to Raj Kapoor and it was made by him.
03:04So these are stories that we have heard in the past too. For instance, in Teesri Manzil, it was Dev Anand who was supposed to do it. Finally, the film was made with Shammi Kapoor.
03:13Re-release is a good business. Re-release means spending again on P&A, digitizing it, polishing it.
03:33There is a lot of expense involved. One should re-release a film only when you feel it is worth it. Or you find an investor who is ready to invest and buy the film to re-release it.
03:47This is what my feeling is. To re-release a film, there are many films which have potential. But we have got to weigh the pros and cons.
03:57How much will be the expense of re-release and how much business can be done?
04:01There is an old film, Laila Majnu, which was not able to run before and now it has run.
04:05In the first run, it was a business of 6-7 crores. Now, when it started again, it is a business of 30 crores.
04:11There are a few other films which were not able to run before and now they have run.
04:17Now, if a film runs for 10-15 crores, the share goes to 3-4 crores.
04:21But I don't know how much expense is involved in re-releasing a film.
04:25Only then the audience will come to watch the film again.
04:28What are your plans for the future?
04:33There are many people who make plans. But every film has its own destiny.
04:37I have a plan. If God wills, all my plans will be fulfilled.
04:43It all depends on my fate, my destiny, my luck and things too. It depends on stars.
04:51By stars, I mean my destiny.

04:59She is around me. She is with us. And all this is due to her.
