00:00Hello, my name is Luke Patrick. I'm a reporter for the Lancashire Post and the Blackpool Gazette.
00:04Here is a day bulletin. Our home was wrecked by the fire that destroyed next door's house in
00:09Blackpool but we're glad everyone's safe. A Blackpool family has had to move out of their
00:15home after a huge fire ravaged next door's house and wrecked theirs as well. The massive blaze
00:21broke out at the Hobsons family home on Henson Avenue in South Shore early on Tuesday afternoon
00:25with eight fire engines called out to tackle it. The family was devastated after their home was
00:31completely destroyed along with their Christmas presents but thankfully no one was seriously
00:36hurt. After years of agony with my teeth I approached a dental law firm and was awarded
00:41£9,000. This guy, Ernst, with 18, received the payment after it was found that underlying
00:47diagnosed decay and poor treatment since she was 12 years old led to severe pain that causes
00:52difficulty eating throughout her teenage years and even now. The teenager says the experiences
00:58have left her losing all trust in dentists despite knowing that she's still in this treatment.
01:03Her sons have sought help from specialist dental negligence solicitors, the dental law firm
01:08partnership who took up her case. Lancashire TV star Steve Hamilton announced his new Inside
01:13Number Nine project. Actor, comedian, director and writer Steve, who was born in Blackburn but
01:18raised in Chorley, is perhaps known for his best television work alongside fellow creative
01:23Rhys Shearman. Along together the pair wrote and starred in The League of Gentlemen,
01:29Psychoville and most recently Inside Number Nine which premiered in 2014 and saw its ninth and
01:35final series air during the summer. Although it was widely believed that Inside Number Nine would
01:39never grace our screens again it was this week being revealed that that is not the case.
01:44Kingsbury Primary School in Skelmersdale forced a closed classroom to prevent spread of infection.
01:50Kingsbury Primary School on School Lane in Skelmersdale has partly closed
01:54to curtail the infection. Lancashire County Council has cited the reason as environmental health.
02:00A spokesperson said the classroom needs to be treated to prevent the spread of infection
02:05when class has been closed.
