With a new year upon us, we’re getting thoughts from people in Cardiff over the state of the NHS in Wales, and the rest of the UK, and seeing what changes people want in 2025.

00:00To be able to see a doctor would help. It's difficult. I mean, this government's only
00:09been in six months. How can they possibly, you know, they can't turn anything around
00:13in a year. So give them a break, give them a chance and we'll see what happens in two
00:20years' time.
00:21I mean, I've been waiting for an NHS dentist since I grew up in Cardiff two years ago.
00:27So yeah, something needs to be done there. But yeah, I think just more investment, really.
00:32I think if it was up to me and there was an endless pot, you know, I think the NHS is
00:36always ranked in the top ten companies in the world as an organisation and it clearly
00:41isn't enough.
00:42Not too clever, really, because I've been in Bally two years now and I've actually not
00:47actually seen a doctor yet. So it's very awkward, really, at the moment, trying to get appointments
00:52to see anybody, you know. And if they can do something about that, brilliant.
