00:00Government employees must wear ASEAN-inspired attires on the first Monday of the month and
00:05Filipiniana attire on the following Mondays under Civil Service Commission Memorandum Circular
00:09No. 16. This aims to honor and represent government workers. This directive applies
00:15to employees in national government agencies, LGUs, state universities, and government-owned
00:21corporations, but excludes contract of service and job order workers unless specified in their
00:27contracts. The clothing allowance for this order will come from agency funds in line with the
00:32Philippine Tropical Fabric Law. Violators will face disciplinary action under civil
00:37service laws and regulations.
00:39If your situation is included in the enumerated exemptions, you need to request to the head of agency that you are exempt and then you justify why you are requesting for that exemption.
