00:00It gets kicked off here with the Janus, which is going to go as race number eight.
00:07It's a five for a long turf sprint, and you and I went through this field.
00:12We're going to use four horses on our pick four sequence.
00:15One of them that I like is Masetto, who's a horse who's kind of coming into his own
00:19right now.
00:20He's lightly raced overall.
00:21He's had a couple physical issues because he's had some long layoffs, but I think he's
00:25going to come running late.
00:27I felt like in this race, two of the horses to the outside, the 10 and the 11, were kind
00:31of the top tier horses or the horses who have some of the best efforts.
00:35So I'll mention the 11, Coppola, a little bit, who I think can sit a nice trip from
00:39the outside, has a little bit of speed, but has some finish.
00:42You're going to mention the other two that we have on the ticket, Alexa.
00:46Tell the other folks who are the other two that we're using here.
00:48Yeah, I found this race really tough, to be honest, so we did spread, but we're going
00:53to use the two as well, XY speed at eight to one odds.
00:56His last four races at Gulfstream have all been this distance on the grass and he's won
01:00them all.
01:01So, you know, he comes from off the pace, but he has decent early speed as well.
01:05And time form, interestingly enough, gives him better early pace figure than a late pace
01:10figure.
01:11But his speed figures are really consistent, really good.
01:14He actually ran a pretty good race, despite the placing in the grade two Woodford.
01:19He was seventh, but less than three lengths off of the wind.
01:22And there were some really tough horses in there that have come back to run really big
01:26races.
01:27One of those that ran ahead of him in that race was Arzak, the number 10, who we're going
01:31to include in here as well, who got third and is the morning line favorite in this race.
01:37He's also one who comes from off the pace and should have a lot of speed to run at in
01:40here.
01:41His last effort was in the Breeders' Cup in the turf sprint where he got six, but was
01:45less than two lengths off the winner at 52 to one odds.
01:48So he definitely outperformed his odds that day.
01:51He's won almost a million dollars.
01:52He's super classy and will be tough competition for sure.
01:55Multiple graded stakes winner.
01:56He's the horse to beat in there.
01:58So we turn the page from race eight to race nine.
02:00This is the one that we just went over horse by horse.
02:03Alexa, remind the folks out there, who are we going to be using on our pick four ticket?
02:07Yeah, for the pick four, we landed on three in here.
02:09We're going to use the number one Tuscan Sky, the experienced stakes runner who's won half
02:13of his lifetime starts and will be vying for the lead alongside Tumba Roomba, the number
02:19two, a very seasoned horse whose most recent start was in the Breeders' Cup.
02:23Dirt Mile has tactical speed to handle that pace duel with Tuscan Sky.
02:27And then finally, the six steel Sunshine, who will be there to pick up the pieces if
02:32that pace duel leads to a meltdown.
02:34Okay, so now we're halfway home.
02:36We're two down in the pick four.
02:38We'll move to race number 10, another graded stakes race here.
02:41This is the grade two Fort Lauderdale for horses going a mile and an eighth on the turf
02:45course here.
02:46Alexa, you start us off.
02:47We're going to go three deep in this one, right?
02:49Yep.
02:50We're starting with the number one Cash Equity at four and a half to one odds.
02:53It was the beaten favorite last out in the grade three River City.
02:58And the beaten favorite is kind of an angle that I like to play.
03:01He's a closer and the pace in that race was really slow, which makes it really hard for
03:06a horse to close into.
03:07So there should be a lot better pace for him to run at tomorrow.
03:11Even though he hasn't won this year, he hasn't really had a bad race, you know, just a tough
03:16running style, being a deep closer.
03:18So Timeform US agrees and thinks that he will beat that losing streak tomorrow.
03:25Also number four, Major Dude ran a major race last out in allowance with one of his best
03:30speed figures of his life.
03:31If you go back to last year, he was a multiple graded stakes winner and his speed figures
03:35have really just continued to improve.
03:37So I Rad is riding him tomorrow, which is who wrote him to victory and all those graded
03:41stakes.
03:42He should get a stocking trip and be a major player.
03:45The dude abides.
03:46I'll also move to the eight Fort Washington.
03:49That's the horse who I like most in this race came off of a trip last time out when finishing
03:54third.
03:55That was really good at a four wide move at the top of the lane in the top two had just
03:59separated.
04:00They were one two throughout.
04:01So it was a race where there wasn't a lot of passing and he was making up ground late.
04:05If they go too fast early, he will come closing the number eight Fort Washington.
04:10So that's the third leg of the pick four sequence.
04:13Let's move to the finale.
04:14Alexa, you get us started in race number 11.
04:17Yep.
04:18It's the grade three Suwannee River stakes going a mile on the turf and we'll be using
04:23the number one ocean club at four to one odds who won the grade three noble damsel in a
04:28blanket finish in her last start at Belmont at aqueduct in September.
04:32She also won a stakes race over the Gulf Stream grass course in May this year.
04:35So it started before this jockey has ridden her six times and won four of them to account
04:41for four out of those five lifetime wins.
04:44So when they pair up, they do really well and things just really seem to be lining up
04:47for in this race and we're getting a decent morning line.
04:50I think at four to one number eight saffron moon is a horse who you look at the form had
04:55almost a year off but his last two race or her last two races are both really good runner
05:00up finishes.
05:01She faced a horse two starts back who was awesome that day named Star Fortress and then
05:05last time out really good second.
05:07So I'm expecting her to take a nice step forward with that race under her and she can move
05:11forward nicely off of that.
05:13The one I also wanted to mention to the outside is breath away.
05:17Should I take my breath away?
05:18I was going to say I haven't really warmed up all this morning.
05:21You know, I'm classically trained but anytime I get a chance to sing I will do so.
05:25Don't make me sing.
05:26Don't make me sing.
05:27I was going to say if anybody has some flashbacks from our Breeders' Cup show when the music
05:31started going in the background and we were rocking and rolling, breath away in this race
05:37is the now horse who's in really good form and the rest of the field we kind of have
05:42some question marks about like we're not sure if the one maybe gets battled with pace.
05:47Can that one hold on?
05:48We have a question mark maybe about Saffron Moon and the ability to string races together.
05:53I'm just really, really sure of what I'm going to get from breath away like a good effort
05:59if she doesn't get in trouble.
06:00If there's not like a bad start, she shows up with a really nice effort.
06:04So we'll be using the 11 on the ticket as well with the one and the eight.
06:08So let's take a look at it one more time Alexa and we can talk the folks through the ticket
06:12Remember, when you're looking at a pick four or a pick five, something like this, you multiply
06:17the amount of horses you have in each race and that's how much your ticket would cost.
06:21So for this one, if we were to go four times three is 12 times three is 36 times three
06:26would be 108.
06:28We're having a 50 cent ticket.
06:30So we cut that thing right in half.
06:31It's $54 in the first leg of the sequence, one, two, 10 and 11.
06:37Alexa, we've given us ourselves some chance for some prices there, but we also have the
06:41logicals. We went all through race number nine with the one, two and six.
06:45Again, I think we have the real logicals in there in the 10th race is where maybe we get
06:49a little bit outside of the box, I think with the one, four and eight and then closing
06:54things out with the one, eight and 11.
