00:00Michael Pettix Jr. The Washington man is going to take over a quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons.
00:06The Kirk Cousins experiment is over. It's done. So there's cautious optimism.
00:10He gets the New York Giants. They're at home against the Giants. And just for perspective too,
00:15well, the Giants have not been very good since week 10. The Giants have allowed the
00:19seventh most yards per attempt, the second highest passer rating and the 12th highest CPOE
00:24across their last five games. The secondary has really been gutted by some injuries too.
00:28So there's opportunity here, especially for the deep ball. I would say when you're approaching
00:33wagering with Michael Pettix, you're looking for a couple of things. Number one, you're looking for
00:37the over on the rushing yards because he's a more mobile quarterback and chances are for a start,
00:41he's going to get out there and run a little bit because especially the adrenaline is going to be
00:44pumping. And I don't know if Vegas is quite ready for the mobility of Michael Pettix,
00:49especially compared to Mr. Kirk Cousins. But also the deep ball, Darnold Mooney would be that guy
00:55for me. So I know Mooney was disappointing last week and a lot of people might not be in their
00:59playoffs anymore. Thanks to the Darnold Mooney performance. However, Darnold Mooney deep ball
01:05today, look for the longest reception for him. Look for the longest reception for Pettix,
01:11maybe some overs there. And then maybe also the total receiving yards of Mooney as well.
01:16Because if you get that 23, 28 yard reception, all of a sudden a 50 mark is much more achievable
01:21for Darnold Mooney. So the susceptibility to the deep pass, that's where you attack the Giants.
01:26That's where Pettix is good. And if you watch Pettix in college, I was the guy that really
01:28liked him, you know, the lefty quarterback. So it looks a little different. You're not used to
01:31it as much. He is a guy that is not afraid to take shots downfield. He is a guy that is,
01:36I sound like Chris Collinsworth. Here's a guy that's going to take some shots downfield.
01:41You're like, yeah, he's going to go out there and he's going to look good doing it,
01:44man. I'm telling you. But he is, he's going to, he's a very fearless gunslinging type of
01:49quarterback. And I like that. He's got the stones to go out there and make some big throws.
01:53And that's something that Atlanta Falcons, I think at this point,
01:56desperately need here, something to shake up this offense. Mason Rudolph also taking over. Now
02:02this isn't new, but with all the injuries, we've had the quarterback and super flex in the last
02:06couple of weeks and all of the replacements too, all of a sudden there's a lot more, I'm,
02:10I'm starting him in a, in a league this week. I'm starting Mason Rudolph is my second QB.
02:14I'm hoping I can get 15 against the Colts. I think you can, I think, you know, what you're
02:18getting from Mason Rudolph and yes, we're going to make the annual it's December Mason Rudolph is
02:23here to lead your fantasy team, blah, blah, blah. All the jokes aside, the Colts defense is not very
02:29good. And I think when you're looking around here, you have NWI is going to play today. You have
02:36Calvin Ridley. You have some weapons here. Taji Spears is healthy enough to play too. So all of a
02:40sudden I think Mason Rudolph is a startable guy. If you are really up against it. And some of us
02:45are in these super flex leagues at this point. So that's another guy that you can stream today.
02:49Now, Dorian Thompson Robinson, another one too, where you don't have a large sample size,
02:53you know, same thing with panics, like really small guy who showed some flashes in college,
02:57but against the Cincinnati Bengals, it's tempting because the defense is so bad on that side.
03:03However, I think the caution is once again, as teams are trying to go through this evaluation
03:08process, what do we have? It's a hard sell for me with DTR to start him Rudolph. I would play
03:15with his nose. So bright. I would absolutely play Michael panics. It's fun. Why not? At this point,
03:21you don't have a Derek Carr. You don't have James Winston. You got to have somebody
03:24DTR is the guy that I want to really wait and see, but let's see how the Falcons look afterwards.
03:30Maybe they were geniuses all along for taking panics where they did after taking all that heat
03:34during the NFL draft. Why did they take medics? Well, we'll find out today.
