00:00So we're providing additional £1 billion for police forces right across the country
00:06over the next year. I think that's really important. But what we've also got to do is
00:12make sure we can get more neighbourhood police back on our streets because we've lost neighbourhood
00:16policing over a long time. But especially now and at Christmas, we also have to recognise
00:22the huge amount of work that police officers and their staff do every single day of the
00:27year, not just the festive time when we know can be really the busiest time of all, but
00:32really say thank you to our police, to police staff for all of the work they do to keep
00:39all of us safe.
00:40This is a really big event.
00:44It's been so busy for the last couple of weeks, hasn't it?
00:46Yes.
00:52I feel most frustrated.
00:53I can say that revolving door of offenders is probably the biggest frustration in my office all year.
00:59We appreciate it and hope Christmas and New Year goes well for you as well.
01:06Thank you. Thank you very much.
01:08Really good to see you.
01:10Hope you have a peaceful couple of days.
01:14Thank you very much.
01:20Take care. Have a good Christmas.
