A total of 12 aid containers led by the Malaysian Consultative Council for Islamic Organisations (Mapim) have entered Gaza via the Rafah border

Datuk Sani Araby, who heads the Malaysia Emergency Aid Mission to Gaza, said he received a video showing a displaced Palestinian in Gaza, carrying an aid box bearing the Malaysian flag into a refugee tent.

00:16Datuk Sani Arabi, who heads the Malaysia Emergency Aid Mission to Gaza, said he received a video
00:22showing a displaced Palestinian in Gaza carrying an aid box bearing the Malaysian flag into
00:28a refugee tent.
00:30He added that the man excitedly describes the contents of the box, which would cost
00:35almost 300 US dollars in the current critical war situation.
00:39According to Sani, the mission sent eight containers of wheat and four containers of
00:44essential items for daily use.
00:46He said MAPIM volunteers and NGO partners in Egypt bought and packed all these items
00:52before sending them by land in May.
00:55He added that the journey faced various challenges after the Rafah gate was closed and occupied
01:01by the Israeli regime.
01:03The national project is a collective effort by various parties, including the Prime Minister's
01:09office and JAKIM.
