00:00The palace assured that it is currently reviewing the various provisions of the 2025 General Appropriations Act to ensure its compliance with the law.
00:10According to Executive Secretary Lucas Versamin, it is being reviewed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and his cabinet
00:18the so-called national budget to ensure its compliance with the Constitution and to fund the priorities of the government, especially the legacy programs.
00:29The secretary-general assured the President that it is important to be careful when spending and to properly program the country's limited funds.
00:38This statement was followed by several calls to remove possible unconstitutional items from the proposed budget before it is passed by the President.
00:48Despite the calls, Malacanang remains positive that the 2025 budget will be implemented in accordance with the goals of the administration and in accordance with the law.
01:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. approved the General Appropriations Act on Monday, December 30.
