00:00The Palacio is currently reviewing the various provisions in the 2025 General Appropriations Act to ensure compliance with the law.
00:10According to Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamil, President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr. and his Cabinet are reviewing the national budget to ensure compliance with the Constitution and to fund it properly.
00:25The priorities of the government, especially the legacy programs of the administration, were given by the President's secret message that it is important to pay attention to the proper programming of the country's limited funds.
00:40This statement was followed by several calls to remove possible unconstitutional items in the budget before the President passed it.
00:50Despite the calls, Malacanang seems positive that the 2025 budget will be implemented in accordance with the goals of the administration and in accordance with the Constitution.
01:03The General Appropriations Act was passed by President Marquez Jr. on Monday, December 30.
