Transcript
00:00Just heading out of Riverside Stadium where Burnley have played out a goalless draw with Middlesbrough in their final game of 2024.
00:09Mixed feelings really, can't really grumble with the result, both sides were pretty evenly matched.
00:14Funny enough the second time in the space of three weeks, it was 1-1 at Turf Moor earlier in the month.
00:20So yeah, can't grumble too much but it was Burnley who had the clearest opportunities, both of them falling for the top goal scorer, Josh Brownhill.
00:27Midfielder who's scored nine goals already this season, the man you'd want them to fall to.
00:32First one he did as much as he could, he was well blocked on the goal line.
00:36The second one set up superbly by Jane Antony who was the biggest threat tonight but he has to score from eight yards out and puts it over.
00:45So that was the big chance to give him the win which would have made it four wins in a row and would have put him in the top two.
00:51As it is, it's another draw, it's now 11 unbeaten, can't grumble too much as I said.
00:56Yeah, certain mixed feelings, happy with the point but could easily have been more.
01:02But yeah, give them the quick turnover in games, only three days since Sheffield United win at Boxing Day and another one coming at home to Stoke on New Year's Day.
01:11So yeah, quick move on and hopefully they'll get back at it and get three points in a few days' time.
