Transcript
00:00Just heading out of Turf Moor where Burnley have made it back-to-back wins with a thoroughly deserved 2-1 win against Watford.
00:08It's now 9-1 beaten. In truth, there was a lot more nerve at the end than there should have been.
00:13It was a really complete performance. Burnley dominated for the vast majority, especially in the first half.
00:19The only negative really was there was only one lup at half-time through Jane Antony's well-taken early goal.
00:27In the second half, again, the game started to open up a little bit and you sensed and you feared a little bit that Watford could maybe get one on the break.
00:34But they got that second goal, that all-important second goal. You just knew that second goal would be absolutely crucial.
00:40Josh Brown have got it for his eighth of the season now. Really well taken on his left foot.
00:46A thorough move from the team as well. Finished off a really good team move and Brown stuck it onto the top corner on his left foot.
00:53You thought that was it. You thought they'd see it out. They looked really confident at that point.
00:56It looked like they were going to get that third and maybe a fourth.
00:59But Watford got out of nowhere really. A bit of a sloppy one.
01:04Stunned home 10 minutes from time after Burnley failed to clear the lines from a corner.
01:09A little bit of leg pressure from Watford but not too much.
01:12It would have been a travesty if they'd come away with a point. Burnley thoroughly deserved the three points.
01:20Sets up a big trip to Sheffield United. The lead of Sheffield United on Boxing Day.
01:27And obviously another two or three big games coming up as well.
01:32Including the Derby in the New Year as well. Good afternoon here at Turf Moor.
