00:00I'm here at Turf Moor where Burnley have just played out a goalless draw against
00:05Stoke City in the first game of 2025. A similar story to really is quite a few
00:10home games we've seen this season where Burnley have struggled to break down
00:14teams that come back, sit back and make it difficult for them. Yet saying that
00:18the more Burnley struggled the more Stoke grew in confidence and couldn't have
00:22won it themselves. They had two or three good chances. James Trafford saved from Tom
00:25Cannon, hit the crossbar as well. If one team was to edge it today you thought it
00:29would be the away side given Burnley were lethargic and really disjointed.
00:33Scott Parker made those four changes. It didn't really work but even then when he
00:39made the five changes in the second half that didn't work either. So yeah Burnley are probably a bit
00:43fortunate to come away with a point. All the drama coming later on really as
00:47Hannibal, one of those subs, came on and showed a straight red card. Inexplicable
00:53really, no complaints. A stamp on the Stoke fullback and yeah a
00:57referee had no choice but to show a straight red. And if anything that sort of lighted a
01:02bit of fire in Burnley and they had a, well both sides had chances to win out the
01:05death. Sam Gallagher headed wide for Stoke with what looked to be the final
01:08chance but then Burnley fashioned one final chance for Josh Lerone, former Stoke
01:13man ironically, but he couldn't get his header on target either so it's nil-nil.
01:17And to be honest Burnley didn't really deserve the victory today. So yeah
01:21work to do for Burnley especially here at home where they remain unbeaten but
01:24yeah very struggle against these sides that make it difficult for them.
