00:00At this point, we have an update on the programs of the current administration here in Mr. President On The Go.

00:24First of all, President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr., has called on all national and local government agencies to support the implementation of the 2024 National Security Strategy or NSS.

00:38The NSS is a comprehensive plan to address the internal and external threats to our country.

00:46Through the NSS, through the Memorandum Circular No. 75 dated December 20 and signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin,

00:57President Marcos, Jr. gave a directive to all government entities including local government units and government-owned or controlled corporations to align their efforts with the NSS.

01:09The NSS includes 53 Strategic Directions and 393 Actionable Steps to provide security to the sovereignty of the Philippines and to support the well-being of Filipinos.

01:22Our President also encouraged the private sector to support the NSS.

01:27The NSS covers four key areas, Human Capital Development, Institution Building, Efficient Use of Instruments of National Power such as Diplomacy and Defense, and Sustainable Growth through Economic Resilience and Legislative Support.

01:43Meanwhile, on another topic, today is Rizal Day. President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. will be the first to celebrate the 128th anniversary of the death of Dr. Roseriza.

01:56In a program in Manila, which will be held later, I expect the President's flowers to be adorned on the monument of Dr. Roseriza.

02:04The theme of the celebration is Rizal in the New Philippines, Life and Studies that we are going through.

02:09This year's commemoration of the death of Dr. Roseriza is an opportunity for Filipinos to remember the bravery of Dr. Roseriza and how Dr. Roseriza's achievements will serve as the foundation for our future.

02:28Meanwhile, today, the NHCP will open an exhibit, Remembering Rizal in Artworks and Monuments, in the main lobby and second floor of the NHCP Main Building in T.M. Callao Suite in Eranita, Manila.
