00:23First of all, fellow countrymen, President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. was named the 13th honoree of the 2024 Presidential Awards for Filipino Individuals and Organizations Overseas.
00:35This is due to their contributions in various fields and their respective communities.
00:42The President also gave the commitment of the government to implement the reforms so that it can achieve the desire of an option or choice to work overseas and not out of necessity or due to necessity.
01:01According to the President, the programs of our government will continue to provide opportunities here in our own country.
01:09Meanwhile, the President also said that the commitment of the Philippine government is to ensure and protect the rights and well-being of overseas Filipinos and their families, wherever their location is.
01:23Some of these initiatives include strengthening labor agreements in other countries,
01:28conducting aggressive campaigns against illegal recruitment and trafficking,
01:31and mobilizing the resources and resources for FWs who need funds.
