00:27Such aggression responds to a systematic strategy that seeks to undermine the sovereignty
00:32of independent states and justify the imposition of unilateral coercive measures in the name
00:38of alleged humanitarian rights.
00:41The text also highlighted the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela rejects the use of universal
00:46jurisdiction for political purposes, a manoeuvre that violates the fundamental principles of
00:52sovereignty and non-interference in the internal affairs of states, guaranteed by international
00:58law.
00:59Venezuela concluded the document by stating,
01:01We reiterate our unwavering solidarity with the people and government of Nicaragua, led
01:07by President Daniel Ortega and Vice President Rosario Murillo, in their struggle for the
01:11defence of sovereignty, social justice and self-determination of the peoples.
