00:00Lions come away with the win, 40-34.
00:04Dan Campbell said this week that they were going to play this game normally,
00:09despite the fact that they had nothing to play for, and they still have to take on the Vikings next week
00:14for the top seed, all those sorts of things.
00:16They were going to play this game normally, and that is exactly what we got from Jared Goff
00:21and the entire offense.
00:23Obviously, a lot going on at the end of the game there.
00:26Brock Purdy getting hurt, hand, wrist, whatever it was on his right hand.
00:31Joshua Dobbs comes in, leads them on a touchdown drive, which I'll just say from the jump,
00:37not a big fan of, not a big fan of.
00:39I spoke on the pregame show heavily with Adam Coffin about what my take for the Lions.
00:45I also said the same exact thing this morning when I was on the early line with Ben and Donnie,
00:49saying it wasn't just about the Lions minus 3.5.
00:52It was the Lions minus 6.5 and minus 9.5.
00:55And that's where we were before this garbage time touchdown from Dobbs that was run in.
01:01Because the Lions were going to go out here and score some points,
01:05and they were going to get some revenge for last season's NFC Championship game,
01:09which they could not close out.
01:10And this was to a tee what I said was going to happen, and that did happen up until the last 50 seconds
01:16of this game.
01:17So personally, I am upset about that.
01:19We have some props that cashed out.
01:21The SGP that I spoke about on the pregame show, that's a winner.
01:25So, yes, I would have loved to have seen all of the bets come through.
01:28But we got about, let's call them, 80% of the bets come through today.
01:31So I really wanted to end the season with a perfect sweep, and we just didn't get there.
01:36So here's the SGP on the board, up a plus 4.30.
01:39Lions money line, they come away with the win.
01:41Brock Purdy goes over 255.5.
01:44He goes way over that with 377.
01:46Jawan Jennings, now we did get the yards from Jawan Jennings when Joshua Dobbs came in there
01:52at the end on that last drive.
01:53So, you know, we win some, we lose some, right?
01:56We won the SGP because Jennings got those yards because Joshua Dobbs came in at the end.
02:02And as Tori Aikman just said on the broadcast, they were teammates in college.
02:05So I guess that's a win.
02:07And then, of course, we see Goff.
02:10I altered him down a little bit.
02:11I was a little bit worried about the potential game script if the Lions got out ahead.
02:14And realistically, the Lions could have had more points.
02:17They had that fourth down play at the end of the first half or so when it was a pass to Sam LaPorta
02:24that was incomplete on fourth down.
02:26So they could have had, you know, 47 points.
02:28Granted, 49ers could have had more as well with Purdy throwing the interception.
02:31So the SGP plus 4.32 is a winner.
02:35Alting the Lions, that didn't work.
02:38Now the Lions did cover minus 3.5.
02:40So I did talk about the Lions just coming away with that normal spread.
02:43So the minus 6.5 didn't come through.
02:45The minus 9.5 didn't come through.
02:46But then I also specifically spoke about Brock Purdy and Juwan Jennings going over their normal props,
02:51which were 2.55 for Brock Purdy and then the 62.5 for Juwan Jennings.
02:56So two straight props come through.
02:57The side for the Lions comes through.
02:59The SGP comes through.
03:01And then the two alts, garbage time or losses.
03:04But all in all, a great day.
